We thank rejoice and thank you for every blessing this Christmas day. We thank you for food. Shelter. Good health. Jobs and businesses. Family and friends. Grace and mercy. We simply say thank you for who You are and ALL that You’ve done.
Thank You, Lord for godly spiritual leaders and faith-filled friends who encourage us, pray for and with us, laugh and cry with us and celebrate us.
While we have much to rejoice about today, we understand that this day for so many, may not be so merry. We pray for our brothers and sisters who are grieving and who have experienced loss of any kind this season. We pray for those parents who children do not know you. We pray for those seeking employment. We pray for those battling sickness, disease and illness. We call every addiction delivered for You are their Wonderful Counselor and Prince of Peace in every situation and circumstance.
Finally, Lord, we ask You to grant us peace that surpasses all understanding in every area of our life and in the lives of all those who are connected to us. We declare on this day, nothing will cause us to forget that You are the reason for the season and that Your PRESENCE is the best PRESENT we could ever have.
As we celebrate Christmas and exchange gifts, we will remember to also celebrate You, the One who was given to us, the One upon whose shoulders the government rests, the One Who is our peace, Whose joy is our strength and Who is always with us.
In the name of Jesus amen.
